Up for sale is a Albert H. Potter & Co., Geneva gentleman’s very fine, rare minute repeating precision pocket watch – so called “Cut Hunter”. Movement No. 322, Case No. 68707, 124 g, made in c. 1880’s. 18k yellow gold case, polished, Ã goutte, engraved monogram, the inner of the jumping lid with ferrotype, slide for repeating mechanism, glazed movement. White enamel dial with little hair crack, radial Arabic hours, auxiliary seconds, blued Breguet hands. Mechanical bridge movement, nickel-plated, ground, 2 hammers, 2 gongs, screwed gold chatons, gold screw compensation balance, blued Breguet balance spring, counterpoised lever. In very good vintage condition.
