Up for sale is an extremely rare and exquisite Charles Oudin pendant watch, dating back to sometime in the early 1900’s. Possibly a religious relic worn by someone of hierarchy status in the Catholic Church. The size of the pendant itself is 73 x 83 mm. Enamel dial with Roman numeral hour markers, outer minute track with Arabic numerals in 5 minute intervals. Signed case with silver openwork. Directly above 12 o’clock you will find a depiction of the Heart of Jesus Christ encircled by “The Crown of Thorns” with a crucifix peaking out of the top. Case no. 29581. Crown to set time in the center of case-back with latch to wind the movement to its right. Manual winding movement.
